| Okay. The vote is in. I mean, the synopsis. As per usual, if I forgot to include something or need to change anything about it, just let me know. ---- Also, Deb, I will wait for you to repost your last Bryn post from the Nines before I post my next post. Oh, and my Erwin picture is on my other computer. I will get it later and add it in all the places where it's missing. | |

| Clarification for my post:
NEW SOUTH WALES: Is part of what is Australia today (Sydney area). It's been colonized by the British since 1788, and there is currently a governor and small settlement there, as well as a penal colony. It is a place where the navy can resupply, as a rugged outpost in the pacific. There is also a penal colony on present-day Tasmania, which will about 20 years later become a separate colony. However, these areas will not be well developed until after the Napoleonic Wars end, freeing up British resources and potential settlers.
I know we are definitely NOT sticking to 'real' history in this story (this is without argument an alternate earth), but I'm trying to make a bit of an effort to be plausible. Heh.

| Cool, and I have no problem with sticking as closely to real history as possible. It makes the story more plausable in our case. | |

| Just so there's no confusion, I am assuming that Raider, Bryn, and Atien are going to somehow, take Meggie with them when they leave the island. Meggie, though, does not realize this and sees no reason to go back to a life that she will no longer fit into. So, my posts may indicate that Meggie is not leaving the island, but that is not the case. I hope I'm making sense. LOL | |

| Yes you are making perfect sense....and yes Meggie will be joining us on the rest of our adventures, if she so wishes. Her confusion is playing well in my humble opinion. | |

| Yes, I think it would be a nice twist to the story for her to join you and the others in your adventures. I just try to put myself in my character's shoes, so to speak, and how would I feel, react, etc. Naturally, she'd be confused after being alone for so long, and the adjustment issues should be fun to deal with as well as comedic at times. | |

| Powder Keg? Now what ever do you mean Powder Keg, my fair lady. Would Raider do anything to ensue such rath in a fair maiden as to ignite an powder keg? | |

| Um....after a two year search, countless killings and the most recent attack on the anchored ship just off shore you honestly have to ask THAT question?
Raider best be tucking his nuts way up inside himself just to be on the safe side.

| It would have to be one of Radiers men Meggie sees or a member of the crew from the ship that was attacked that happened to be on land when it occurred. The crew from the Wolf haven't made it that far inland yet and many of them are still working at getting the bodies moved out to sea and securing the things they took from the ship they attacked.
Right now, the only ones headed for shore is Anne, Babe and the men rowing the boat ashore for them. All total, with Anne and Babe, there will be eight people headed for shore from the Wolf right now.

| Gotcha. I probably should have asked first before sending Meggie off to investigate movement. | |

| I'm still following the story... when the scene moves from the island or something believable occurs that would allow the introduction of Lothaire de Baptiste I'll slip him in. I am not going to throw him in until it would be realistic, but I am in absolutely no rush so please don't try and twist the story on a behalf of a single character.
Question: Is there an English ship in the immediate vicinity?

| No problem Tiph ..... we still need to get Raider and Bonnie connected up. Which should prove interesting. Then get the others envolved, get off the island and figure out how to get The Bill Of RIghts back. I don't think there is a Brit about any longer, however there may be one lurking around somwhere. and then..... and then..... and then MORE ADVENTURES IN THE QUEST FOR THE AMERITES AND LOST TREASURE ....... FORTUNE AND GLORY KIDS ..... fortune and glory. | |

| There's ALWAYS a Brit ship skulking about in the seas. And they have the uncanny timing of popping up when you least need them to. | |

| Don't know how Meggie could tell Babe saw her. Bear put in his post his body language didn't change and Babe continued to smile.
We'll work with it this time but remember to read through the posts carefully so minor details aren't over looked.

| Yep, you're right. I didn't read the post throroughly enough. Sorry. I was in a hurry. But, is it possible that as Babe got closer to where Meggie was, she got nervous enough to bolt? | |
